August, 2011 eclipse news update  - Tour operators are already sending their scouts to  Far North Qld in advance, to find best spots, accom & other activities - to watch the eclipse. At least 50,000 people throughout the world are expected to travel to this region in Australia  - which is regarded as one of the best places in the world to view this event.
